En el siglo XIV hubo un gran interés por el estudio del movimiento, principalmente en Oxford y París. Analizamos los trabajos de Thomas Bradwardine en Oxford y Nicolás Oresme en París, quienes publicaron sendos libros esenciales acerca de estas cuestiones mediante el estudio de las razones. Además, Bradwardine formuló una Ley del Movimiento que tuvo un gran éxito y se utilizó como referencia, hasta el siglo XVI.

In the XIVth century ther was a great interest about the study of the motion, mainly in Oxford and Paris. We analyze the works of Thomas Bradwardine in Oxford and Nicole Oresme in Paris, who published two essential books on these questions using the theory of ratios. Furthermore Bradwardine formulated a Law of Motion that had a great successand was used until the XVIth century
