Resumen de Adaptación y validación del cuestionario: estilos de enseñanza (portilho/banas) en el contexto educativo español

El presente estudio tiene como finalidad validar la Escala de Estilos de Enseñanza de Portilho y Banas (Batista, Portilho y Rufini, 2015) en una muestra española. La escala tiene un total de 4 dimensiones y 40 Ítems. Para dar mayor validez lingüística su traducción al español (originalmente en portugués) tuvo varias fases. A continuación se llevó a cabo un análisis de la fiabilidad y validez de constructo, primero a través de un análisis factorial exploratorio y posteriormente mediante un análisis factorial confirmatorio.Nuestros resultados muestran una buena fiabilidad de la adaptación (alfa= .906) y validez predictiva, concluyendo que el modelo definido desde la muestra para profesores brasileños tiene una buena relación con las respuestas de profesores españoles a nivel de conjunto. Consideramos por tanto que supone un instrumento breve y eficiente para establecer el estilo de enseñanza del docente de cualquier área y nivel de formación.

The purpose of this study is to validate Portilho and Banas’ Teaching Style Scale (Batista, Portilho y Rufini, 2015) with a Spanish sample. The scale has 4 dimensions and 40 items. To increase the linguistic validity, the translation into Spanish (originally in Portuguese) was done in several phases. Afterwards, the reliability and the construct validity were measured, first by an exploratory factorial analysis and then by a confirmatory factorial analysis.
The results have revealed a good reliability of adaptation (alpha= .906) and predictive value. We can conclude that the validation of the model with Spanish teachers is in general similar to the one performed with the Brazilian sample. We therefore believe that it is a brief and efficient instrument to establish the teaching style of a teacher in any area or educational level.
