Resumen
- The article discusses the emergence of Web science as an academic discipline. The nature of the Internet is discussed, noting its combined structure of technological, social, and psychological engineering. Several areas of Web science are also mentioned, including the study of the social diffusion of technological innovations, the development of stronger semantic networks, and the adaptation of brain science to the structure of the Internet.
