Resumen de Experiencia sobre la evaluación continua en la enseñanza a distancia de las matemáticas

  Los alumnos de la UNED difieren del resto de los universitarios en que su trabajo es aparentemente más solitario. Usando el Campus Virtual, se diseñó el plan de actuación. Se les incluyó entre el material de trabajo habitual, autoevaluaciones no puntuables como novedad, para tratar de facilitar su aprendizaje formativo en Matemáticas y mejorar el proceso de EC acorde con el EEES. Se hizo el diseño general, se dotó de contenido a las pruebas de forma muy meditada y se pautó el trabajo del alumno. Los niveles de seguimiento y participación fueron elevados y los resultados medidos, por las pruebas realizadas, arrojaron un número mucho mayor de alumnos que superaban la materia y con mejores calificaciones. Se combinaron las herramientas disponibles en la plataforma para coordinar el trabajo de todos. El uso del Campus Virtual facilitó la experiencia.

  UNED students differ from the rest of university students in the fact that their work is apparently more independent. For this reason, an action plan was designed to include the use of the Virtual Campus. A new feature, the self-check revision test, was implemented together with the habitual studying material in order to facilitate the learning process in Mathematics and to improve the CA (Continuous Assessment) process according to the EHEA (European Higher Education Area). The global design was produced, the tests were provided with content and the students received guidelines for the completion of their tasks. Enrolment and participation rates were high and the results obtained from the tests carried out, showed that a higher number of students had passed the subject and that the grades were better. The work was coordinated by the combination of the tools available on the platform. Finally it was proved that the Virtual Campus had facilitated the experience.
