    En la presente investigación se propone una nueva metodología para la construcción de indicadores sintéticos de sostenibilidad, de forma que se tengan en cuenta las necesidades y aspiraciones de todos los implicados en el desarrollo del sector, a través de indicadores provenientes de fuentes estadísticas de información y de aquellos que proporcionan información sobre los juicios de valor de los pobladores locales y los turistas. El estudio se lleva a cabo en las zonas donde se desarrolla el turismo de naturaleza en la República de Cuba.

    In the present investigation, a new methodology is proposed for the construction of sustainability composite indicators, with the purposed that all necessities and goals to the involved people of the sector development have been taken into account by means of indicators originated from source of statistical information and those that give information about the value opinions of local inhabitants and tourists. The study takes place in zone where nature based tourism is developed in the Republic of Cuba.
