Resumen de Extending The Jaggerd-Boundary Edge Problem to Angles

Antonio R. Quesada

  • Given an area of land between boundaries that consist of two rays with the same origin and separated into two regions by a jagged-edge of arbitrary length, we answer the following questions: can we find a straight segment from one ray to the other that maintains the original areas of each region? Is there a solution segment of minimal length? In this paper, we also find the locus of the existing infinite solutions and determine the optimal one.
