    Los conceptos básicos usados en el estudio de los procesos del Entendimiento, Inteligencia y Educación han sido heredados de los clásicos. Este artículo se centra en los dos modos de conocer el mundo: (1) como se dice que es y (2) como es en realidad. La ";Teoría"; desarrolla el primero, pero el segundo debiera aprenderse también. La herencia cultural heredada en Educación ha optado por la presentación teórica del Universo y el autor se declara un heredero de esta herencia, pero de mala gana, y desearía renegociarla.

    The basic concepts used in the study of processes of Understanding, Intelligence, and Education have been inherited from the classics. This paper is centered in the two ways of knowing our surroundings: (1) how it is said it is; and (2) how it really is. ``Theory'' develops the first, but the second ine should also be learned. The cultural heritage inherited in Education has chosen the theoretical presentation of the Universe and the author declares himself an inheritor of this heritage, but reluctantly, and would like to renegotiate it.
