Resumen de Impartiendo el Máster en Ingeniería Informática bajo la doble modalidad Presencial-Semipresencial simultáneamente

  El Máster en Ingeniería Informática nació con debilidades importantes asociadas principalmente a un incremento escaso, aunque progresivo, de graduados, y a una posible falta de motivación de dichos graduados al entender muchos de ellos que su etapa de formación concluía con el grado. La Escuela Superior de Informática de Ciudad Real, como estrategia para fortalecer el Máster en Ingeniería Informática, apostó desde el inicio por una implantación basada en una doble modalidad presencial/semipresencial. Esta iniciativa nos ha permitido contar actualmente con un número muy razonable de estudiantes matriculados, equivalente en muchos casos a otras escuelas con un número de partida de graduados mucho mayor que la nuestra. Uno de los aspectos más destacables de esta doble modalidad en el Máster es la clara diferenciación entre los grupos de estudiantes que cursan la opción presencial y aquellos que optan por la semipresencial, atendiendo especialmente a su madurez, origen educativo y aprovechamiento de la docencia. En este artículo se analizan los detalles relevantes sobre la orientación, organización y preparación de contenidos del Máster en Ingeniería Informática, y se ofrecen detalles específicos relativos a dos asignaturas del mismo, tituladas Dirección Estratégica y Operativa de Empresas e Interacción y Visualización de la Información.

  The Master in Computer Science was born with significant weaknesses due mainly to the slow, although progressive, growth of the number of students finishing their undergraduate degree, as well as to their potential lack of motivation as many perceived their undergraduate degree as the termination of their academic education. To strengthen the Master in Computer Science, the School of Computer Science of Ciudad Real, decided to implement it using a blended format combining face-to-face and semi-online sessions. This structure has boosted the number of students enrolled to a reasonable level, equivalent in many cases to those enrolled in schools with a greater number of students. One of the highlights of this dual format in the Master’s degree is the clear differentiation between students enrolled in the face-to-face option and those following the semi-online sessions, especially concerning their maturity, academic background, and how they take advantage of the teaching. In this article we analyze significant facts about the orientation, organization and preparation of the content of the Master in Computer Science, and we offer specific descriptions concerning two of the subjects taught, Strategic and Operational Business Management and Interaction and Visualization of Information.
