      La resolución de problemas permite a los estudiantes entender las matemáticas como un todo y evitar trabajarlas como bloques de contenidos curriculares separados. A su vez, pasar de hacer ejercicios mecánicos a resolver problemas puede ser confuso para algunos alumnos. En el presente artículo proponemos como complemento del enunciado verbal del problema el uso de material manipulativo o soporte tecnológico en la actividad de enseñanza. Con este fin, presentamos dos ejemplos de problemas de geometría, detallamos la fase de preparación de los problemas, su implementación en clase, y seleccionamos dos alumnos para ilustrar sus resoluciones

      Problem solving let students understand mathematics as a whole and avoid working with them as separate structures of the curricular contents. At the same time, the transition from working on mechanical tasks to solving problems can be confusing for many students. As a complement to the wording of the problem, in this article we suggest the use of manipulatives or technological support during the teaching activity. With this aim, we show two examples of geometry problems; we give explicit details on the preparation phase of these problems and their implementation in class, and select two students to exemplify their resolutions
