Necesidades formativas tecnológicas en turismo. Estudio de caso de Andalucía

    Según diversos estudios y encuestas realizadas en los últimos años, una de las necesidades formativas más demandas por el sector turístico son las relacionadas con las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones (TIC). A esto hay que unir el impacto que las mismas han tenido en la oferta y la demanda turística en las últimas décadas y las implicaciones que tienen en el capital humano.

    En este artículo se realiza en primer lugar un breve repaso de la literatura académica sobre los estudios de necesidades de formación. A continuación se repasa el impacto que las TIC han tenido en el turismo en los últimos años y finalmente se presentan los principales resultados del proyecto TURISTIC‑E, que determinó las necesidades formativas en materia tecnológica en el sector turístico andaluz.

    According to different researches and surveys conducted in recent years, ICT is one of the most demanded training needs by the tourism industry. Besides this, in the last decades they have had a direct impact on the tourism supply and demand, especially in human capital.

    Given this scenario this paper makes a short review of the academic literature of training needs analysis.

    Then it examines the impact of ICT on tourism over the last thirty years to end showing the results of the project TURISTIC‑E, which identified the technological training needs in the tourist sector of Andalucía.
