Resumen de El uso de tablas de valores para la representación gráfica de funciones

  La utilización, por los estudiantes de primer curso de matemáticas en la Universidad, de tablas de valores para representar gráficas de funciones elementales, pone de manifiesto un esquema mental deficiente. En este artículo se investigan las causas que lo provocan. Se analizan los tratamientos que dan algunos libros de texto de la Educación Secundaria a esta cuestión, y se proponen actuaciones para erradicarlo.

  The use by first-year students of mathematics at the University of tables of values in the graphic representations of elementary functions, shows a poor mental scheme. In this paper we investigate the causes that provoke it. It analyzes the treatments that give some textbooks of secondary education to this question, and proposes actions to eradicate it.
