Resumen de El tiempo con la familia en las parejas de doble ingreso. Un análisis a partir de la Encuesta de Empleo del Tiempo 2009-2010

  El artículo utiliza la pregunta 'con quién realiza la actividad' que aparece en la Encuesta de Empleo del Tiempo 2009-2010 para analizar el tiempo que se comparte con pareja e hijos. El objetivo principal es analizar los cambios en el tiempo con la familia en función de las características de las parejas, en especial las relacionadas con la ocupación. Los resultados muestran que las madres pasan mucho más tiempo con los hijos y que son precisamente las características relacionadas con la ocupación las más influyentes. Las parejas con características más igualitarias son las que el tiempo que el padre comparte con los hijos más se asemeja al de la madre.

  This research aims at analyzing the time shared with the partner and the children using the question �with whom the activity is done� included in the Time Use Survey 2009- 2010 enumeration form. The main purpose of the paper is to analyze changes in the time shared with the family according to the characteristics of the couple, especially those related with the activity status and employment. Results of the research state that mothers spend more time with children than fathers and that activity status variables are the most determining. Gender balanced couples have minor differences in the time that fathers and mothers spend in activities with their children.
