Repositorios Digitales en España y calidad de Metadatos

  • Los repositorios digitales han experimentado unnotable desarrollo en los últimos años, en especiala partir de la formulación de la Open ArchivesInitiaitive (OAI) y de la aparición de instrumentoscomo el protocolo Open Archives Initiative Protocolfor Metada Harvesting (OAI-PMH). En este trabajose analizan los metadatos de los 69 repositoriosespañoles accesibles mediante dicho protocolo yse realiza un estudio cuantitativo y cualitativo de losdatos contenidos en dichos repositorios. En especial,se analizan factores que inciden directamente en lacalidad de dichos datos, identificando los problemasmás frecuentes.
