Valor posicional desde una perspectiva etnomatemática

    Este artículo contiene parte de los resultados de la historia de un personaje que no sabe leer ni escribir pero que aprendió a sumar utilizando los precios de los artículos, pues es comerciante y se vio en la necesidad de aprender a sacar cuentas para realizar sus actividades como comerciante. El personaje se llama Benjamín y presenta su manera particular de sumar, de una forma ilustrativa deja ver algunas de las cuentas sacadas por él, seguido del análisis del investigador. Esta investigación se inserta dentro de la etnomatemática porque es matemática sacada de la practica social por la necesidad de las actividades cotidianas del propio Benjamín.

    Es un trabajo que muestra como un analfabeta en castellano pero no en matemática domina con propiedad el valor posicional, de modo que esto es otra manera de sumar cantidades buscando abrir caminos para lograr un enlace entre la etnomatemática y la práctica escolar.

This investigation insert inside the etnomatemática because it is mathematic takes out of it practices social by the need of the daily activities of the proper Benjamín. Is a work that shows as an illiterate in Spanish but is not mathematic and that dominates with property the value positional so that this is another way to add quantities looking for open ways to attain a link between the Ethnomathematics and the school practice.
