  • Year: 2010 Vol.: 77 Fasc.: 3-4 Title: On the sumset of geometric progressions Author(s): Attila B¶erczes The present paper gives a complete answer to the question of the cardinality of sumsets of ¯nite geometric progressions with positive real quotient. The proof of the main result is based on theorems concerning irreducibility and GCD of trinomials and quadrinomials.
