El presente estudio es una recopilación, reproducción y transcripción de la cartografía árabe medieval referida a la Península Ibérica y más concretamente a su parte oriental, la que corresponde al Sharq al-Andalus, que a grandes rasgos coincide con los territorios de la Corona de Aragón y el Reino de Murcia. Partiendo de las reproducciones publicadas por Konrad Miller (1926-1929) y de las copias facilitadas por varias bibliotecas europeas, se ofrece una lectura crítica de las transcripciones de Miller y se presenta una interpretación más ajustada a la realidad geográfica. Al mismo tiempo se dan conocer al lector reproducciones en color de algunos mapas hasta ahora inéditos en España.

The present study is a summary and transcription of the Arabic medieval cartography referred to the Iberian Peninsula and more accurately to its oriental part, which corresponds to the Sharq Al- Andalus, which in outline coincides with the territories of the Corona de Aragon and the Kingdom of Murcia. Departing from the reproductions published by Konrad Miller (1926-1929) and from the copies facilitated by several European libraries, a critical reading of Miller�s transcriptions is offered and one presents a more exact interpretation to the geographical reality. At the same time, reproductions are announced to the reader in color of some maps till now unpublished in Spain.
