  • Resumen
    • In addition to the current state of knowledge about the learning of mathematics and its aims in todays society, the main purpose of this paper is discussing ways of improving the process of learning, and especially, in that regard, the role of e-learning technologies. We chart the situation of e-learning mathematics as of December, 2005, including distance-learning or open university courses, and then we consider a number of areas where e-learning is likely to develop. Finally, we assess the impact of e-learning on the role of the new educators in mathematics.
