Resumen de Stieltjes-type functions and elementary quadrature formulas (I)

• In this paper we study certain rational approximations to functions of Stleltjes-type;l. e. functions that can be given by (1.1). For it, we shall make use of some well known quadrature formulas, such as, the trapezoidal rule, the mid-point rule an so on. Numerical examples, where comparison with others methods is made, are also given.
