• In this paper we give a description for the closed subspaces of $L^p(X,\mathcal{A},\mu), 1\leqslant p < \infty$, which are invariant under multiplication by a selfconjugate family of essentially bounded functions. This work is a continuation of [3] and [4] and the results obtained form part of the author's doctoral dissertation [5].
