• In this paper, the authors have rnade an atternpt to presenta grouptheoretic rnethod of obtaining a class of mixed trilateral generating relations frorn a given class of bilateral generating relations involving sorne special functions.

  Moreover, in course of application of our theorern, we have obtained a good nurnber of results (new and known) on rnixed trilateral generating relations for various special functions.
