  • We consider Koornwinder's generalized Jacobi polynomials Pnj'c'M°'M'1(x) with weight function w(x) = xi + Mo ó(x) + Ml 8(1 - x) on the interval [0, 1] for Mo, Ml arbitrary masse, and j = 0, 1, 2, . . . . We show that the polynomials Pnj'o'MO'Ml)(x) are eigenfunctions of a differentia.l operator of order 2j +6 with polynomial coefficients
