Resumen de On Removing One Point from a Compact Space

Gady Kozma

  • If B is a compact space such that after removing one point x it is still Lindelof, then any power of B satisfies that after removing one point (namely the point all whose coordinates are x) it is still star-Lindelof. If after removing one point B is still compact, then any power of B, after removing one point is still discretely star-Linedlof. In particular, this gives new examples of Tychonoff, discretely star-Lindelof spaces with unlimited extent.
