Resumen
In this paper, we study the well-posedness and polynomial stability to the one-dimensional system in the linear isothermal theory of swelling porous elastic soils with internal damping of fractional derivative type. We prove well-posedness by using the semigroup theory. Also we establish an optimal decay result by frequency domain method and Borichev-Tomilov theorem.
