  • Resumen
    • This paper presents the design, development, and evaluation of a cyber-physical disassembly station for electronic components, consisting of a physical prototype and its digital twin. The physical station was developed in an academic context using modular construction and industrial automation tools. In parallel, a digital twin was built in Ciros, enabling simulation, sensor testing, and validation of control logic without physical hardware. Comparative tests were conducted to evaluate system performance under different workpiece configurations. Results show that the digital twin can replicate real behavior with high accuracy and can also incorporate virtual sensors to optimize cycle times. The study demonstrates how digital twins can reduce testing time, identify inefficiencies, and support scalable solutions in disassembly processes for sustainable manufacturing.
