Hybrid learning systems gained attention during the post-pandemic, becoming a paradigm resulting from the convergence of face-to-face and online education, virtual learning environments and didactic strategies. In this symbiosis of emerging technologies, the assessment of learning has posed a challenge. Thus, the research aimed to compare the level of acceptance of computer-based assessment (CBA) among university students in a synchronous hybrid learning environment, considering postulates of Sociocultural Theory such as mediation and interaction. The research was conducted at two universities in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico, during the 2023-2024B school year, with two groups of seventh-semester computer engineering students taking a hybrid course of Parallel and Distributed Computing Systems. Using a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, the Computer-Based Assessment Acceptance Model was used to analyze student attitudes across nine dimensions. After four interventions, the results showed progressive increases in the perception of CBA acceptance by both face-to-face and remote students. Among the contributions of the research, it is noteworthy that social influence, assessment content, and goal expectations favor technology mediation, concluding that in hybrid learning environments, computer-based assessment is gradually accepted.
