Aproveitando que no verán de 2026 vaise vivir unha eclipse total de Sol nunha gran parte da provincia da Coruña, pretendemos amosar neste artigo como se viviu dende distintas localidades algunhas eclipses de Sol das que se teñen rexistros de interese, facendo mención especial aos seus protagonistas. Como metodoloxía empregaremos fundamentalmente, ademais doutras fontes, novas xornalísticas da época á que tivemos acceso a través da hemeroteca dixital Galiciana ou da Biblioteca Virtual de Prensa Histórica.

Taking advantage of the fact that in the summer of 2026 a total solar eclipse will be observed in a large part of the province of A Coruña, we intend to show in this article how some solar eclipses of which there are records of interest were experienced from different locations, making special mention of their protagonists. As a methodology we will use fundamentally, in addition to other sources, news journalism of the time to which we had access through the Galician digital newspaper library or the Virtual Library of Historical Press.
