Two Diophantine problems are considered in this work. For the problem of decomposing a square as the sum of two consecutive even powers, infinitely many solutions are obtained. Regarding the other problem, given a rational number, an infinity number of triplets of rational numbers are obtained in arithmetic progression, such that the sum of each pair of such numbers is the square of that rational number.
