The graphic statistics appear near specific publications and also are a powerful tool of social coininunication. In this work we note some reflections about how to conduce statistic data visualization for the teaching formation.
The inain issues what we think over are:
- The social phenomenology and epistemology of graphic statistics, - The iinage and perception of information graphic from cognitive science and - View since mathematics education and presence in the curriculum.
This paper tells about the reasons which led us to choose a qualitative methodology -case studies- as a fundamental methodology in our research which purposes were as follows: to enquire whether two 8th grade pupils (in a school and at a determined classroom) made use of mental images or not when they solved mathematical problems, or when they had to find a meaning for the mathematical questions they were asked, and also. To arrange al1 the elements used in getting the information and to give answers about the way that the analysis have been done is the most important aim of this article.
