  Sovint, trobar un bon material manipulatiu de matemàtiques que sigui estructurat és dificultós. I encara és més complicat treballar continguts corresponents a l’ESO. En aquest article s’explica l’experiència d’una professora que, com a resultat de la seva investigació i pràctica a l’aula, ha dissenyat un nou material manipulatiu. S’aporten reflexions sobre diferents materials per treballar l’àlgebra i la seva idoneïtat per complir els objectius establerts. I més tard, s’exposa el material d’autocreació: ALGEMAT (Àlgebra amb material) explicant amb exemples com permet treballar diferents operacions matemàtiques.

  Finding good mathematics manipulative material that is structured is often difficult. And even more so if you want to work on content for compulsory secondary education. This article explains the experience of a teacher who, as a result of her research and practice in the classroom, has designed new manipulative material. Reflections are provided on different materials for working on algebra and their suitability to achieve the established objectives. Later, the self-creation material is presented: ALGEMAT (algebra with material), explaining with examples how it can be used to learn different mathematical operations.
