Diferencias entre alumnado y profesorado en la valoración del uso de una plataforma virtual para la enseñanza y aprendizaje de las matemáticas

    El número de instituciones educativas de Educación Superior que utilizan las plataformas virtuales como un recurso educativo se está incrementando a pasos agigantados. Nuestra investigación se contextualiza en el Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre donde se ha incluido la plataforma para la Arquitectura Empresarial-IPP (PAE-IPP) como herramienta multidisciplinar para la mejora del aprendizaje del alumnado. Con nuestra investigación, se pretende observar las valoraciones del alumnado y el profesorado sobre esta plataforma mediante un estudio cualitativo basado en el análisis de contenido y la Teoría de los Conceptos Nucleares, mediante la creación de una tabla de categorías y una entrevista estructurada. Entre las conclusiones obtenidas se destaca que el alumnado muestra una actitud positiva hacia las TIC y la plataforma PAE-IPP, pero tiene falta de base. Los principales beneficios de la plataforma son el acceso a los contenidos, la realización de fichas de ejercicios y la mejora en el estudio de las matemáticas. Las principales deficiencias son la escasez de recursos y la necesidad de mejoras como la inclusión de aplicaciones interactivas. Los docentes creen que la interfaz es adecuada y que existe una falta de base en conocimientos de matemáticas del alumnado.

    The number of higher education educational institutions that use virtual platforms as an educational resource is increasing by leaps and bounds. Our research is contextualized in the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre where the PAE-IPP platform has been included as a multidisciplinary tool for the improvement of student learning. With our research, we intend to observe the assessments of students and teachers on this platform through a qualitative study based on the analysis of content and the Theory of Nuclear Concepts, by creating a table of categories and a semi-structured interview. Among the conclusions obtained, it is worth highlighting that students show a positive attitude towards ICT and the PAE-IPP platform, but they lack a base and a bad profile in mathematics. The main benefits of the platform are access to the contents, the realization of exercise cards and the improvement in the study of mathematics. The main shortcomings are the scarcity of resources and the need for improvements such as the inclusion of interactive applications. Teachers believe that the interface is adequate and there is a lack of knowledge in mathematics.
