Resumen de Estudio de una contracción en el plano euclídeo

  • It is well known that a contraction is simply a map from a metric space to itself, with the property that for any two points in the space, the distance between them is greater than or equal to the distance between their images under the contraction. According to this definition, we have created a special contraction that transforms the Euclidean plane onto the unit circle. The images under that contraction of a circle centred at the origin, the square of vertices the points (± 1, ± 1) and any straight line are calculated
