Traditionally, studies and problem solving that have focused on affective and emotional aspects have not been connected and have proceeded ignoring each other explicitly. But implicitly this disconnect is not complete and there are signs and mutual service areas that interconnect them. In this work we try to account for this evidence by focusing on one of the most active affective factors in the process of teaching and learning of mathematics: math anxiety.
