Resumen de Una experiencia con Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje en Enseñanza Secundaria Obligatoria

  En este trabajo se describe la experiencia desarrollada en un instituto de enseñanza secundaria en los cursos de tercero y cuarto de ESO del empleo de Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje (EVA) en sustitución de los libros de texto clásicos de papel. El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar los resultados de nuestro estudio sobre los efectos del empleo de esta nueva herramienta a través del análisis de una encuesta pasada a los alumnos al respecto. Se ofrecen características de la muestra de alumnos para contextualizar lo máximo posible los resultados de la encuesta. Finalmente se analizan las ventajas y desventajas que, a la vista de los resultados, se aprecian al respecto de la introducción de los EVA en las aulas de enseñanza secundaria obligatoria. Podemos concluir que los EVA son una herramienta bien acogida por el alumnado que aumenta su motivación hacia el estudio y mejora sus resultados académicos.

  In  this  work  an  experience  using  Virtual  Learning  Environment  (VLE)  in  a  secondary  education  school is  described  for  third  and  fourth  courses  of  secondary  compulsory  education,  thus  substituting  standard books  in  class.  The  aim  of  this  paper  is  showing  the  results  of  our  study  about  the  effects  of  the  use  of this  new  tool  through  the  analysis  of  the  survey  filled  in  by  the  students.  Several  features  of  the  sample of  students  are  given  to  better  understand  the  conclusions  arising  from  the  poll.  Lastly, advantages  and disadvantages arising from the use of VLE in secondary education classrooms are analyzed in light of the results of the survey. We can conclude that VLE are well seen by the students and can be used to improve the motivation of the students and their academic results.
