ABSTRACT: In this work indicates, by a theoretical model, the fatigue strength of very long wires at cable-stayed bridges based on the fatigue strength of small size test. We introduce the hypothesis of dependence of the different sections that make up the wire using a Box-Jenkins model, ARMA (p, q), in the simulation. The influence of the tension law is analyzed along the tendon and the progressive failure is studied, both static and fatigue, for a multiple wire.
