SANTIAGO CRIOLLO-C was born in Quito, Ecuador in 1984. He received the B.S. degree in electronics and information networks engineer, from National Polytechnic School in Quito, in 2010 and the M.S. degree in communication networks from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and, He received the Ph. D. degree in computer science at University of Alicante in Alicante, Spain, in 2021, where he has oriented his research to the use of mobile devices as support in higher education. Since 2013, he has been professor of information technology in Universidad de Las Américas in Quito, Ecuador.
