Positive Solutions for Nonlocal Extended Fisher–Kolmogorov and Swift–Hohenberg Equations

Abstract

In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions for a class of nonlocal fourth-order semilinear differential equations which can be seen as generalization of extended Fisher–Kolmogorov and Swift–Hohenberg equations. The main result is proved using bifurcation theory.
