Resumen de Momentos de exploración e ilustración en la determinación de circunferencias en futuros docentes de educación secundaria

  Se analiza la actividad matemática de estudiantes del Máster Universitario en Profesorado de Educación Secundaria, especialidad en Matemáticas, en una situación didáctica destinada al estudio de circunferencias. En las tareas a resolver por los alumnos se estudian los métodos de geometría analítica para la representación de circunferencias y las propiedades de estas figuras mediante una metodología de exploración e ilustración. Primero se identifican los conocimientos previos de los estudiantes y después se ponen a su disposición herramientas en distintos soportes para afianzar y desarrollar dichos conocimientos. El proceso de estudio evoluciona mediante la interacción de dos soportes materiales: uno, el software dinámico GeoGebra; otro, el «lápiz y papel». Se extraen conclusiones sobre la importancia de la interacción entre los medios en la adquisición de conocimientos y su implicación en las intervenciones docentes previstas.

  In Master’s degree in Secondary Education Teaching, speciality in mathematics, the activity of students in a didactic situation for the study of circumferences is analyzed. The activities made by the students follow an explorative and illustrative methodology to study the analytic geometry methods to represent circumferences and the characteristics of these figures. The first step is to identify the previous knowledge of the students and then, give them learning tools in different formats to consolidate and develop this knowledge. The study process evolves through the interaction of two material tools: one, the dynamic software GeoGebra; and other, the «pencil and paper». Conclusions are drawn about the importance of the interaction between the tools in the acquisition of knowledge and its involvement in the planned teaching interventions.
