El objetivo de esta investigación es el análisis de las inteligencias múltiples en los contenidos audiovisuales seleccionados por una empresa que desarrolla recursos digitales para educación primaria en contextos de bilingüismo educativo. Con el fin de realizar este estudio se han seleccionado aleatoriamente un conjunto de 100 vídeos de la plataforma analizada que contiene 6000 vídeos. En cada uno de los vídeos analizados, se ha comprobado cuáles son aquellas inteligencias múltiples que predominan en el total de los vídeos analizados.

The 21st century has witnessed a substantial increase in research focused on the benefits of bilingualism for individuals. The aspects that have received the most attention have been executive functions. And communication skills. Less is known, however, about the noncognitive and nonlinguistic aspects of bilingualism. Personality psychologists claim that personality is the result of a combination of nature-related and nurture-related factors, but the latter have not been sufficiently addressed in studies on bilingualism. Thus, to bridge this gap, the present contribution pursues this line of inquiry by adopting a quantitative approach to the examination of the self-perceived mobility, employability, and intercultural competence of participants who studied in a bilingual education program. La investigacion presentada en este trabajo se ha llevado a cabo para analizar, en distintos cursos de Grado en Ensenanzas Universitarias, el uso que los estudiantes realizan de las tecnologias digitales y su percepcion sobre la utilidad de las mismas, utilizando para ello un cuestionario. Se ha realizado un analisis factorial exploratorio, estableciendo la estructura de factores existente en el conjunto de respuestas a los items. Para identificar distintos perfiles en el uso de los distintos instrumentos y estrategias entre los estudiantes, se ha realizado un analisis cluster. El modelo didactico aplicado en varios cursos, se concreta en la realizacion de secuencias de actividades de aprendizaje disenadas con las Tecnologias de la Informacion y Comunicacion (TICs). Bilingual education (BE) is widely recognised as a complex phenomenon, which constitutes a priority for key educational institutions and organisations. However, further research is needed to uproot common beliefs such as that bilingual students can easily interact with two or more cultures. The literature affirms that BE students need specific school training to improve intercultural competence. The main aim of this study is to describe the design and validation of a questionnaire to measure students’ perceptions of intercultural practices at bilingual schools. The validity of content and comprehension was carried out through the Delphi method, for which three methodological phases were established. The importance of bilingual education is widely debated in the scientific world; it represents an opportunity for millions of international students in the 21st century, endorsed with varied benefits, including cognitive, neurolinguistic, socio-cultural, academic or labor, among others. The main objective of this work is to evaluate the impact of bilingual education on students who graduated from bilingual programs by measuring three key factors (employability, mobility and intercultural awareness), and comparing the results with those from a group of students who graduated from non-bilingual programs. A factorial analysis was carried out to reduce the size of the original set of variables from 11 to 3, thus constituting a model of scientific efficiency. The hypothesis posed was whether being part of a football/soccer team influenced the quality of life (QL) of the people who participated in it since their perception of themselves is enhanced by factors, such as self-determination, social inclusion, emotional well-being, physical well-being, material well-being, rights, personal development, and internal relationships. The objective was to evaluate the QL of people with Down Syndrome (DS) using their self-perception (n = 39) and the perception of the informants (family members, teachers) (n = 39). The KidsLife-Down Scale, with a few modifications, was used. In general, differences of opinion between the subgroups of participants with DS and informants showed that results were higher in terms of perception for participants in the DS subgroup. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar las estrategias para la enseñanza de la comprensión lectora que utilizan los docentes de cuarto grado de Educación General Básica de los distritos de El Carmen y Jipijapa – Puerto López de la provincia de Manabí. Para este fin, se aplicó un cuestionario a 31 profesores de cuarto grado y a 818 estudiantes. El instrumento de evaluación utilizado consta de dos partes, (i) datos sobre la percepción de la importancia atribuida a la enseñanza de la comprensión lectora del español como primera lengua, y (ii) datos sobre el empleo de la metodología de enseñanza de la comprensión lectora del español como primera lengua. Los resultados indican que existen diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre los datos del empleo de las fases prelectura, lectura y poslectura de ambos distritos. Esta investigación tiene por objetivo analizar las distintas actividades que los estudiantes realizan a la hora de escribir en cinco distritos educativos de la provincia de Manabí (Ecuador). Los principales referentes conceptuales del estudio son: autonomía y calidad en el relato escrito, concordancia entre género, número y persona, coherencia y cohesión, todos ellos indicadores vinculados a las pruebas TERCE de ámbito referencial. Se presentan resultados de una encuesta que se aplicó aleatoriamente a 4439estudiantes de cuarto y 4288 en séptimo grados de Educación General Básica y se correlacionan interrogantes planteadas para evaluar la enseñanza de la escritura (dominio textual). Computer-assisted language learning (CALL) benefits from undeniable steps forward such as the use of authentic materials, real communicative contexts and the ubiquity of learning. However, to discriminate the quality of digital resources for autonomous language learning from a critical perspective is not an easy task due to its diversity. This article offers the evaluation of a selected set of open-access and institutional websites for the learning of English as a Second Language (ESL) as the result of a research project for which expert-validated tools have been used. The statistical analyses carried out offer interesting data on the highest- and lowest-ranked ESL sites from both technical and academic viewpoints related to the quality of the resources offered. The conclusions address at a valuable contribution to the orientation of autonomous learning as an inherently human activity, but which nowadays still needs professional guidance and support.

Since ERASMUS (European Region Action Scheme for the
Mobility of University Students) was launched there has been
a constant debate about the civic significance of this mobility
programme. The purpose of this article is to analyse the
understanding of active citizenship by Erasmus students. In
order to discover Erasmus students’ perceptions, values, beliefs
and attitudes regarding the issue under discussion, original
data were collected from 174 students who participated in
our survey in March 2014. By applying a statistical analysis,
the most and the least important criteria for being considered
an active citizen have been extracted from the answers of our
respondents. In addition, we studied their attitudes towards
and knowledge of the European Union (EU). We found that
their understanding of ‘active citizenship’ echoes with the
definition of the concept provided in the research literature.
