Dr. Sergio Luján-Mora is a professor at the Department of Software and Computing Systems of the University of Alicante in Spain. He earned his PhD in computer engineering from the University of Alicante in 2005. He has been a post-doctoral researcher in the USA and Ecuador. He has developed and implemented web applications since 1997 and has taught how to do so at a university since 1999. His main research topics include web application development, web accessibility and usability, e-learning, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), and Open Educational Resources (OERs). He has taught the courses “Compilers”, “Programming and Data Structures”, “Internet Programming”, “Hypermedia Programming 1”, and “XML” at the University of Alicante. He has also taught several courses in web programming, web application development, and web usability and accessibility, both in Spain and in other countries, such as Algeria, Cuba, Ecuador, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Moldova, Peru, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.
