El uso de instrumentos informatizados y en línea se ha incrementado notablemente en las últimas décadas. Sucesos como la COVID-19 han influido en la consolidación de su uso, siendo herramientas de trabajo muy útiles para evaluación e investigación. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue analizar una plataforma de evaluación online denominada MenPas 1.0, explorando sus áreas de trabajo y el flujo de datos de los últimos años. Introducción La asignatura de Informática del Grado en Biología proporciona una formación específica en el manejo de las principales herramientas bio-informáticas. Es una asignatura multidisciplinar en la que participan tres áreas con distinta carga docente: lenguajes y sistemas informáticos (50%), botánica (25%) y genética (25%). Esta casuística origina una complejidad en la calificación total de la asignatura que suele traducirse en la confusión del alumnado sobre sus calificaciones. Objetivos Establecimiento de un sistema transparente de evaluación continua mediante la puesta a punto de un Libro de Calificaciones (LC) que sirva de referencia al alumnado durante el desarrollo de la asignatura. Método En la asignatura de Informática creada en el Campus Virtual de la Universidad de Málaga se ha habilitado el LC. Se ha categorizado cada cuestionario on-line, tareas auto-evaluativas, entrega de memorias de prácticas y actividades específicas de cada uno de los diferentes bloques, introduciendo la formulación necesaria para la ponderación precisa de cada actividad en el conjunto de la asignatura. Resultados y conclusiones En el LC quedan reflejadas las calificaciones obtenidas por cada alumno en cada una de las tareas asignadas, así como el peso ponderado que reciben sobre la nota final del total de la asignatura. The open nature of basketball gives it a large uncertainty that makes hard the tactical analysis of the situations that happen in the game. Specifically, screens are one of the offensive tactical elements most used in basketball and one example of a tactical situation that needs the highest preparation level to get a good performance in the competition. The aim of this study is to differentiate these player behaviors by gender using data mining and polar coordinates analysis. Therefore, one ad hoc observational tool made by 17 criteria and 97 exhaustive and mutually exclusive (E/ME) categories has been designed and validated using the data quality analysis (correlation coefficients and concordance index 0.98) and generalizability analysis (G coefficients 0.94) to perform such a study. Many studies have highlighted the impact of sport on cognitive functioning. However, more evidence is needed to explain which type of sport is more relevant. The main purpose of this study was to determine the level of attention span based on the type of sport practiced (open vs. closed). In addition, this problem was also analyzed based on gender and training hours. The study sample consisted of 547 participants (27.20% male; 72.80% female), aged between 19 and 35 years old (M = 24.19; SD = 3.74). The “Modrian Images” computerized test, hosted in MenPas Cell software(MenPas 1.0), was used to assess the attention span. The results showed that athletes playing open sports have a better attentional span than others playing closed sports. Moreover, this was also replicated when assessing by gender. El presente trabajo muestra la experiencia de innovación docente llevada a cabo durante los dos últimos cursos en la asignatura de Informática dentro del Grado de Biología, basada en la aplicación de la herramienta taller de Moodle para la aplicación de la metodología de revisión entre iguales como instrumento para el aprendizaje. Los resultados de dicha experiencia muestran la utilidad de esta metodología de revisión como instrumento para el aprendizaje que ha podido ser percibido de forma subjetiva por los alumnos participantes y también expresado cuantitativamente mediante la realización de una encuesta de satisfacción.

Data mining is a technique that aims to explain large data sets through patterns of behavior, associations, changes, or significant structures in the data. The main goal of this study was to analyze information about beliefs and attitudes towards hypnosis, evaluated by the Valencia Scale of Attitudes and Beliefs Toward Hypnosis, Client version (VSABTH-C) in two temporal moments with a total of 444 participants; developing decision trees in order to discover any sociodemographic factors influencing these variables. The results indicate some influence of gender, education level, and profession on the scores in the scale factors, thus women tended to get higher scores on factors such as Control and Fear; people with a higher educational level tended to get higher scores on factors that denote more positive attitudes and beliefs towards hypnosis; in addition, the psychologist participants showed more positive attitudes and beliefs regarding hypnosis. TITULO DE LA TESIS: USO DE CONECTORES PARA LA COMPOSICION, COORDINACION Y ADAPTACION DE COMPONENTES RESUMEN: Esta tesis doctoral presenta un marco de trabajo, una metodologia de diseno y desarrollo y una herramienta que la soporta para la composicion, coordinacion y adaptacion de componentes software. El trabajo se basa en la nocion de conector propuesta por Alien y Garlan y en la metafora de Diseno por Contrato de Meyer. La propuesta realizada permite el uso y composicion de componentes distribuidos en los que el cliente de un componente servidor puede establecer los requisitos no funcionales de un servicio, el comportamiento del mismo y las caracteristicas de calidad de servicio (QoS) esperadas (rendimiento, seguridad, fiabilidad, etc). Ademas, los conectores generados usan una ontologia del dominio del problema que permite la adaptacion semantica de las llamadas a los servicios en tiempo de ejecucion cuando el componente servidor es reemplazado o modificado.

The main goal of this research is to study the relationships between physical activity, mood states and self-rated health in the Spanish lockdown (March 2020–April 2020) due to the state of alarm caused by COVID-19. The participants were 328 people aged between 19 and 59 years (M = 37.06; SD = 10.82). Females comprised 63.70% of the participants, and 36.30% were male. An associative, comparative and predictive design was used in this research. The International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), the Profile of Mood State (POMS), the state anxiety scale of the State-Trait Anxiety Questionnaire (STAI) and the General Health Questionnaire GHQ−12 were applied in order to measure the study variables. Attention is one skill related to processes such as memory or learning, so, its evaluation is very interesting in areas such as clinical, educational or sports. The aim of this paper is to analyze the reliability and generalizability of one online computerized tool, named MenPas Mondrian Color, that has been developed for the visual attention span assessing and training. In addition, it has been intended to determine any existing relationships among the different parameters of the tasks performed in order to check the coherence of the results obtained in the executions. In 11,540 analyzed executions of 1064 users from different American, African and European countries, 6543 of them were performed by women (56.70%) and 4997 by men (43.30%). El proyecto PACOTE consiste en la paralelizacion de un codigo termohidraulico para la simulacion de plantas nucleares denominado TRAC-PWR (Transient Reactor Analysis Code) que se utiliza en la actualidad para analizar la evolucion de una planta ante diversos tipos de contingencias, pudiendose asi determinar cual es la respuesta idonea para cada caso. TRAC-PWR es tambien utilizado para entrenamiento de operadores de centrales nucleares. El objetivo del proyecto es el de reducir considerablemente el tiempo de ejecucion del codigo de modo que sirva para predecir el resultado de operaciones mas rapidamente que en tiempo real, y asi servir de ayuda al operador de la central, ademas de convertirse en una herramienta de diagnosis y supervision de los reactores. La paralelizacion a nivel de tareas atendiendo a la estructura fisica del modelo y una paralelizacion de los algoritmos numericos que se utilizan para la resolucion de las ecuaciones de estado.

Nowadays, getting advantageous offensive situations in high-level basketball is being increasingly harder, so taking advantage of any situation in the game since the team has the ball is essential to be competitive. Therefore, the goal to achieve in this study is to evaluate using a mixed method strategy the behaviors happening in the application of the technical–tactical means performed in the transition play of professional basketball in Spain. An ad hoc observation tool made of 11 criteria and 83 exhaustive and mutually exclusive categories (E/ME) has been designed and validated by means of data quality and generalizability analyses. Indexes obtained show high reliability and validity allowing the proposed actions to be recorded (correlation coefficients are above 0.95 and generalizability coefficients are above 0.90 in all cases).
