Resumen de Conflictos semióticos de estudiantes de Bachillerato sobre el muestreo

En este trabajo resumimos los conflictos semióticos identificados en una investigación sobre comprensión del muestreo con estudiantes de Bachillerato. El trabajo se realiza sobre una muestra de 127 estudiantes españoles de bachillerato a quienes se pide escribir cuatro muestras de una distribución binomial, variando los parámetros y justificar las muestras proporcionadas. A partir de sus argumentos se identifican los conflictos semióticos que asocian a la aleatoriedad o muestreo y que incluyen propiedades que no se adaptan al significado institucional de estos conceptos.

In this work we summarize the semiotic conflicts identified in an investigation on understanding of sampling with high school students. The work is carried out on a sample of 127 Spanish high school students who are asked to write four samples of a binomial distribution, varying the parameters and justifying the samples provided. From their arguments, the semiotic conflicts that are associated with randomness or sampling and that include properties that do not adapt to the institutional meaning of these concepts are identified.
