Resumen de Unas curvas estrafalarias II

Ricardo Moreno Castillo Árbol académico

  • Shape-preserving transformations in the Euclidean plane (also denoted similarities) are usually studied using either synthetic geometry techniques or algebraic techniques. As GeoGebra is, at the same time, a dynamic geometric system and a computer algebra system, both techniques can be applied simultaneously. Both kinds of techniques are used in this article to study these transformations with the help of GeoGebra. The article is focused on the visualization and exploration of their properties and, especially, on their composition. This way the study and the application of these transformations is facilitated.
