  • Foot temperature monitoring is of great importance in diabetic patients, as they are prone to complications such as peripheral neuropathy and vascular insufficiency. In recent years, the study of different non-invasive procedures to monitor healthy indicators is growing, due to the advances in mobile devices, micro-sensors, and also wireless sensors. The health monitoring systems are used by medical staff and also by patients when they are out of the hospital, in their personal environment.

This paper presents a preliminary work to identify the specific points on the feet where the temperature sensors should be positioned.

We have developed an statistical analysis of the data obtained by a thermal camera from healthy people.
