Preferencias entre unidades eficientes. Una aplicación de super eficiencia fuzzy basada en niveles de exigencia

      En el contexto económico actual, lograr el máximo de eficiencia es una cuestión clave para las empresas.

      En ocasiones, los métodos clásicos de análisis de la eficiencia, como el Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), no ofrecen al empresario información suficiente al clasificar las unidades de decisíon en dos grupos, las eficientes y las ineficientes.

      Los gestores demandan más información sobre la eficiencia de su empresa, de modo que la puedan comparar con la del resto de firmas y conocer su posición relativa dentro del grupo de empresas eficientes o ineficientes.

      En este trabajo se propone un enfoque, basado en la lógica fuzzy, que completa los modelos DEA clásicos y permite, a partir de los modelos de super-eficiencia fuzzy, llegar a una ordenación de las empresas clasificadas en primera instancia como eficientes. La aplicabilidad práctica del enfoque propuesto se ilustra con un ejemplo real en el campo de las empresas textiles

      In the current economic context, achieving maximum efficiency is a key issue for companies. Classical methods analysing efficiency, such as Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) are often not able to provide the companies’ managers enough information about the efficiency of their companies as those methods classify the decision units into only two groups, efficient and inefficient. Managers demand more information on the efficiency of their companies in order to be able to compare themselves with other firms and to know their relative position within the group of efficient or inefficient firms.

      This paper presents a fuzzy logic based approach which complements the classical DEA models allowing, by means of the concept of fuzzy super-efficiency, the attainment of an order for the companies firstly classified as efficient. The practical applicability of the proposed approach is illustrated with a real example in the field of textile firms.
