Resumen de La evaluación en Matemáticas en el Grado de Maestro de Primaria

  Los alumnos que cursan el Grado de Maestro de Primaria (GMP) se distribuyen en ocho grupos en segundo y siete en tercero, en turnos de mañana y tarde y con profesorado heterogéneo en la Universidad de Murcia. Elegida la convocatoria de junio 2012/13 se analizan las actas de calificaciones de Matemáticas y su didáctica y se comprueba que no hay diferencias significativas ni por género, ni por curso, ni por turno y que dos de cada tres alumnos que se presentan aprueban, que uno de cada dos alumnos matriculados aprueba y que el porcentaje más alto de aprobados se obtiene en la primera convocatoria.

  El que la tasa de éxito sea del 66,6 % y la de rendimiento el 48,5 % indica que los alumnos no tienen adquiridas las competencias en Matemáticas, siendo una de las causas la falta de conocimiento de matemática elemental con que llegan los alumnos al GMP.

  Primary Education degree students at the University of Murcia are distributed into eight groups in the second year and seven in the third year, in morning and evening shifts, and are taught by a heterogeneous number of teachers. The marks of the different groups for the subject Mathematics and its Didactics were analyzed for the June exams during academic year 2012/13. The results show that there are not significant differences according to gender, year or shift, that 2 out of 3 students that take the exam pass, that 1 out of 2 students registered pass and that the highest pass percentage happens the first time the students take the exam. The fact that the success ratio is 66,6 % and the performance ratio 48,5 % shows that students have not acquired Mathematic competence, being the poor knowledge in elementary mathematics with which they come to the degree one of the reasons for this.
