Resumen de Procedimientos matemáticos básicos para aprender límite: su evaluación

  En alumnos de primer año de una Facultad de Ciencias se diagnosticó el grado de dominio de ciertos procedimientos matemáticos necesarios para abordar:Límite de una función.

  El marco metodológico siguió principios de Samaja, que rientaron la construcción del objeto modelo de la investigación. Se elaboró e implementó una prueba escrita cuya solución requería el dominio de los procedimientos:Identificar,Interpretar, Recodificar, Calcular, Graficar y Controlar. Un estudio descriptivo mostró mayor desarrollo en Identificar, Interpretar, Calcular y Graficar y menor dominio en Recodificar y Controlar. Este diagnóstico determinó la inclusión, en el material instruccional a implementar en el aula, de actividades que contribuyan a superar las falencias detectadas.

  In first grade students of a School of Sciences was diagnosed the development of some mathematical procedures required to approach the learning of the unit: Limit of a function. The methodological framework followed the principles of Samaja that built the model object of the research. A written test with five items was elaborated. Its answers required the control of the procedures: Identify, Interpret, Re-encode, Compute, Make graphic, and Control. A descriptive study of the data would show more development in Identify, I nterpret, Compute, and Make graphic, besides, a minor control in Re-encode and Control.

  This diagnosis determined the incorporation of activities in the instructional material required by them and contributes to its mastery.
