Resumen de Survey sampling: science or divination?
Sample surveys are one of the most important fields of application of statistics. Sampling is a day-to-day life experience for all of us: we are continually bombarded by opinion polls, which often do not have the right quality. This paper shows some important aspects to consider in conducting surveys and tries to claim the role of the statisticians in surveys.
