As opposed of what is usually believed, a real compatibilty between quantum physics and special relativity is far form bein granted. The fact that the instant of the wave-function collapse depends on inertial obse rvers ruins the prop ensity interpretation of quantum probability as an objective property of the micro-objects. The alternatives seem to be the abandonment of the physical equivalence among inertial frames, or a reformulation of our ideas on a possible und erlying structure for space-time
