• In this paper we prove that the maximal operator M~ f := supn2P jMnfj log3=2(n+1) , whereMnf is the nth Marcinkiewicz{Fejer mean of the 2-dimensional Walsh{Fourier series, is bounded from the Hardy space H2=3(G2) to the space L2=3(G2).
