  • Explicit calculations of the various cohomology groups of a Banach algebra I are often very difficult to obtain. In this paper, we will present an elementary method to describe the second cohomology group H2(I ,I) for a class of algebras called triangular Banach algebras. The techniques are then illustrated through a number of examples.
